Online Mass Reservation

Online Seat Reservation for Sunday Masses

Church of the Nativity offers online reservation for all of our Sunday Masses. Online reservation opens up on Thursdays at Noon.  To reserve your seat online, go to nativitymenlo.eventbrite.com
However, should you wish to continue to sit outdoors and feel more comfortable, you may do so.  The front church courtyard has limited seating capacity, therefore, we highly encourage you to bring your own chairs.

There are three Masses that you can choose from and be able to reserve your seat at the Mass that you wish to attend.  Alternatively, sign up for the Parish Email Newsletter and you will receive notifications of when the Mass online registration opens up.

Reservations will open on Thursday, Mar. 4th at Noon:
  • Saturday, Mar. 6 - 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Mar. 7 - 9:00 a.m.
  • Sunday, Mar. 7 - 11:00 a.m.

Online reservations:  Note:  We have noticed that there are those who have reservations but end up as no-shows. We understand things happen last minute and that is your priority. However, it affects our reservation check in process where we would like to be able to accommodate those who are on stand-by to be able to get a seat inside. We will only hold your reserved seats up to 10 minutes after Mass begins.  After that, the opportunity will be given to those who have requested for it. We appreciate and thank you for your cooperation.
EXTRANEOUS NOISE DURING LIVESTREAMING MASSES:
Our Masses on Saturday evening at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. are being livestreamed for those who are not able to attend mass in person at this time.  Any extra noises in the church are being easily picked up by the audio equipment for the livestreaming.  This extra noise makes it difficult for the people who are watching online to hear the Mass and homily.  We kindly request that noisy children be taken out of the church until they are able to settle down and return.  Thank you.

In the event internal church seats are all filled, we have the outdoor front courtyard, with limited seating capacity.  Indoor O'Hare Center seating is also available to handle overflow.  No reservations needed.  Our ushers will be around to guide you.  We still encourage you to bring your own chairs for outdoor seating.

For anyone who wishes to participate and attend the Mass, there is an Informed Consent for In-Person Attendance at Mass During COVID-19 Public Health Crisis form that will need to be filled out by each Mass attendee.  Here is the PDF copy should you wish to download and fill out and submit upon check-in as it will help in the check-in process.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation.  We greatly appreciate it.

ATTENTION:
Please be advised of the following rules in place when in the church:
  • It is REQUIRED to wear FACE MASKS (to include covering the nose) at all times while in church, with the exception of receiving the Holy Communion.
  • Some hand sanitizer is available in the church but please bring your own as well.
  • Maintain physical/social distancing from person-to-person at all times — a minimum of at least 6 feet.
  • The order of Holy Communion distribution will be given within the Liturgical Order of the Mass.  Instructions will be announced.  Social distancing to be observed.
    a.  Those receiving on the hand group will go first;
    b.  Those receiving on the tongue group will go second;
    c.  Those receiving low-gluten hosts group will go last.
  • If you are not feeling well or have an underlying health condition, please stay at home.
Seating are arranged by Sections.
  • Section A - reserved for an individual person. One registration for yourself.
  • Section B-Pair - reserved for two people.  Only one registration for two people.
  • Section C-Pair - reserved for two people.  Only one registration for two people.
  • Section B-Family of 3 - reserved for a family of three people.  Only one registration for a family of three.
  • Section C-Family of 4-7 - reserved for a family of four to seven people.  Only one registration for a family of four to seven.
In the event internal church seats are filled, we have the following seating area to handle the overflow and no reservations needed.  Our ushers will be around to guide you:
  • Outdoor front courtyard - We have in place a couple of Bluetooth/wireless amplifier speakers to aid in projecting the sound out to the crowd.  Facial masks still required if you cannot maintain the 6 feet apart of social distancing mandate.
  • O'Hare Center - There is limited seating (approx. 20 seats) and you will be able to watch the livestreamed Mass via YouTube.  Facial masks and social distancing required.

We will be continuing with our Livestreaming Masses.  So for those who are still shelter-in-place, it will be made available for all three Masses.  Click on this link to get to the Livestreaming page.
